Abstract

Glavni cilj ovog rada je bio odrediti kako udaljenost od srčike utječe na tvrdoću i abrazijsku otpornost drva bagrema (Robinia pseudoacacia) na poprečnom presjeku. Tvrdoća je izmjerena Brinellovom metodom, a ispitivanje otpornosti na abrazijsko trošenje provedeno je na uređaju Taber abrader.
Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da udio kasnog dijela goda ima veliki utjecaj na intezitet abrazijskog trošenja. Između udjela kasnog dijela goda i inteziteta trošenja postoji jaka negativna linearna korelacija uz visoki koeficijent R = -0,717.
Vrijednosti izmjerenih udjela kasnog dijela goda na ispitnim uzorcima kreću se u rasponu od 0,415 do 0,868.
Otpornost na abrazijsko trošenje drva bagrema ne ovisi o poziciji uzoraka u odnosu na srčiku.
Izmjerene vrijednosti tvrdoće nalaze se u rasponu od 124,9 HB do 187,3 HB. Kod mjerenja tvrdoće na poprečnom presjeku drva prisutno je veliko rasipanje rezultata, koje je karakteristčno za sve drvne vrste.

Abstract (english)

The main goal of this thesis was to determine how the distance from the pith affects the hardness
and abrasion resistance of black lotus wood (Robinia pseudoacacia) in cross section.
The hardness was measured with the Brinell method, while the abrasion resistance test was
performed on a Taber abrader device.
The results of the research showed that the proportion of the late part of the annual ring has a
great influence on the intensity of abrasive wear. Between the proportion of the late part of the
annual ring and the intensity of wear, there is a strong negative linear correlation with a high
coefficient R = -0.717.
The values of the measured proportion of the late part of the annual ring on the test samples
range from 0.415 to 0.868.
The resistance to abrasion wear of black lotus wood does not depend on the position of samples
in relation to the pith.
The measured hardness values are in the range from 124.9 HB to 187.3 HB. When measuring
hardness in a cross section of wood there is a large dispersion of results, which is characteristic
of all wood species.
