Abstract

U ovom su radu izrađena dva različita polimerna kompozita na bazi epoksidne smole ojačanih staklenim i lanenim vlaknima. Analizirana savojna i međuslojna svojstva kompozita prema normama HRN EN ISO 14125 : 1998 i HRN EN ISO 14130 : 1997. Ispitivanjima su istražene vrijednosti prividne međuslojne smične čvrstoće, savojnog modula elastičnosti, savojne čvrstoće te deformacije prilikom loma. Dobiveni rezultati uspoređeni su sa zahtjevima Hrvatskog registra brodova (HRB) za kompozite ojačane staklenim vlaknima.
Istraživanje je pokazalo kako je kompozit epoksidna smola / staklena vlakna postigao najbolje rezultate i zadovoljio sva svojstva, kao i kompozit epoksidna smola / staklo i vlakna, sa malo lošijim rezultatima. Ova smo dva kompozita usporedili sa biokompozitom epoksidna smola / lan, iz prijašnjeg istraživanja, te pomoću te usporedbe uočili promjenu svojstava dodavanjem staklenih vlakana. Uočeno je da većinu svojstava biokompozit nije zadovoljio, za razliku od staklima ojačanih kompozita. Time je zaključeno je da, iako kompoziti ojačani biorazgradivim vlaknima pokazuju zadovoljavajuća svojstva u određenim primjenama, u nekim je primjenama zbog opterećenja neizbježna upotreba dodavanja staklenih vlakana.

Abstract (english)

In this paper, two different poliymer composites based on epoxy resin and reinforced with glass and linen fibers were made. Flexural and interlaminar properties were analyzed according to HRN EN ISO 14125 : 1998 and HRN EN ISO 14130 : 1997. The tests investigated the values of apparent interlaminar shear strength, flexular modulus of elasticity, flexural strength and deformation at break. The obtained results were compared with the requirements of the Croatian Register of Shipping (CRS) for glass fibers reinforced composites.
Research has shown that composite epoxy resin / glass fiber achieved the best results and satisfied all properties, as well as composite epoxy resin / glass and fiber, with slightly worse results. . We compared these two composites with biocomposite epoxy resin / flax, from a previous research, and using this comparison we noticed a change in properties by adding glass fibers. It was observed that most of the properties of the biocomposite were not satisfied, unlike the glass reinforced composites. This concluded that, although composites reinforced with biodegradable fibers exhibit satisfactory properties in certain applications, in some applications, due to the load, the use of glass fiber addition is unavoidable
