Abstract

Bicikli su sastavni dio današnjeg prometa i sporta. U povijesnom razvoju bicikala,
najvažniji napredak postignut je u području pogonskog sklopa. U ovom završnom radu
iznesene su informacije o pogonskom sklopu bicikla, smještaju lančanika u sklopu bicikla,
njihovim zadaćama, materijalu, konstrukciji i uvjetima eksploatacije. Opisane su metode
karakterizacije materijala poput ispitivanja kemijskog sastava, mikrostrukture, debljine
prevlake i tvrdoće. U sastavu eksperimentalnog dijela završnog rada, na uzorku tri
korištena lančanika i tijela glavčine, provedena su navedena ispitivanja uz detaljan opis
postupaka pripreme metalografskog uzorka i izvedbe analiza te diskusiju dobivenih
rezultata.

Abstract (english)

Bicycles are an integral part of today's sports and traffic. In bicycles historical
development, the most important progress was made in its drivetrain area. In this final
assignment, information about the bicycle drivetrain, the location of the sprockets in the
bicycle assembly, their tasks, materials, construction and conditions of use is presented.
Materials characterization methods such as chemical composition testing, microstructure,
coating thickness and hardness are described. In the experimental part of the final
assignment, on the sample of three used sprockets and a freehub body, mentioned tests
were performed with a detailed description of the metallographic sample preparation
procedure and analysis execution, as well as a discussion about obtained results.
