Abstract

Cilj rada je odrediti kako se mijenja intenzitet abrazijskog trošenja aluminijske legure oznake AlMgSi1 pri promjeni kvalitete brusnog papira odnosno veličine abrazivnog zrna. Poznato je da se s povećanjem veličine abrazivnih čestica se u pravilu linearno povećava intenzitet abrazijskog trošenja, ali samo do određene veličine abrazivnih čestica. Ta veličina zove se kritična veličina abrazivnog zrna. Daljnjim povećanjem abrazivnih čestica intenzitet trošenja može i dalje rasti, ali uz manju stopu prirasta, može padati ili ostati nepromijenjen. U teorijskom dijelu rada opisani su aluminij i aluminijeve legure, mehanizmi trošenja te fenomen kritične veličine abrazivnog zrna.
U eksperimentalno dijelu rada ispitano je kako se mijenja intenzitet abrazijskog trošenja aluminijske legure AlMgSi1 s porastom veličine abrazivnih čestica. Utvrđeno je da porastom abrazivnog zrna raste intenzitet abrazijskog trošenja. Ova ovisnost nije linearna. Povećanjem abrazivnog zrna smanjuje se prirast gubitka mase. Ovisnost između intenziteta trošenja i veličine abrazivnih zrna može se aproksimirati polinomom drugog stupnja uz koeficijent korelacije veći od 0,99.

Abstract (english)

The aim of the work is to determine how the intensity of abrasive wear of the AlMgSi1 aluminum alloy changes when the quality of the sandpaper or the size of the abrasive particle changes. It is known that as the size of the abrasive particles increases, the intensity of abrasive wear increases linearly, but only up to a certain size of the abrasive particles. This size is called the critical abrasive particle size. With a further increase in abrasive particles, the intensity of wear may continue to increase, but with a lower rate of increase, it may decrease or remain unchanged. In the theoretical part of the paper, aluminum and aluminum alloys, wear mechanisms and the phenomenon of critical abrasive particle size are described.
In the experimental part of the work, it was examined how the intensity of abrasive wear of aluminum alloy AlMgSi1 changes with the increase in the size of the abrasive particles. It has been established that the intensity of abrasive wear increases with the increase in the abrasive grain. This dependence is not linear. The dependence between wear intensity and abrasive grain size can be approximated by a second-degree polynomial with a correlation coefficient higher than 0.99.
