Abstract

Teorijski dio diplomskog rada opisuje svojstva Toolox čelika, njegovu primjenu i proizvodnju. Detaljno je obrađena zavarljivost te specifičnost tehnologije zavarivanja i rezanja Toolox čelika. Kratko je opisan postupak MAG impulsnog zavarivanja te uloga zaštitnog plina, uz analizu utjecaja primjene trokomponentnih plinskih mješavina Ar/CO2/O2 na geometriju i svojstva zavarenog spoja. Eksperimentalni rad sastoji se od pripreme uzoraka Toolox 33 čelika debljine 10 i 20 mm, izvođenja postupka MAG impulsnog zavarivanja korištenjem plinskih mješavina C18, C12 X2 i C6 X1, s i bez predgrijavanja na temperaturu 70 °C. Zavareni kutni spojevi podvrgnuti su vizualnoj kontroli zavara, izradi makroizbrusaka i mjerenju geometrije te ispitivanju tvrdoće. Analizom rezultata ispitivanja utvrđen je utjecaj plinskih mješavina na rasprskavanje kapljica metala tijekom zavarivanja, oblik metala zavara i penetraciju. Pokazano je da temperatura predgrijavanja i debljina materijala utječu na penetraciju i tvrdoću zavarenog spoja. Mjerenjem tvrdoće ispitana je i analizirana pojava zone utjecaja topline tijekom postupka toplinskog rezanja.

Abstract (english)

The theoretical part of the thesis describes the properties of Toolox steel, its application and production. The weldability and specificity of welding and cutting technology for Toolox steel are discussed in detail. The MAG pulse welding process and the role of shielding gas are briefly described, with an analysis of the influence on the application of three-component Ar/CO2/O2 gas mixtures on the geometry and properties of the welded joint. The experimental work consists of the preparation of Toolox 33 steel samples with a thickness of 10 and 20 mm, performing the MAG pulse welding procedure using gas mixtures C18, C12 X2 and C6 X1, with and without preheating at 70 °C. Fillet welds are subjected to visual inspection of weld beads, macro examinations with geometry measurements, and hardness testing. The analysis of the test results determined the influence of gas mixtures on the spatter of metal droplets during welding, the shape of the weld metal and penetration. The preheating temperature and the thickness of the material affect the penetration and hardness of the welded joint. By measuring the hardness, the occurrence of the heat affected zone during the thermal cutting process was examined and analyzed.
