Abstract

U ovome radu su opisane metalne pjene koje predstavljaju relativno novu vrstu materijala porozne građe i posljedično karakterističnih svojstava. Osnovna svojstava metalnih pjena proizlaze od vrste materijala stijenki ćelija, oblika ćelija (zatvorene i otvorene) i procesa proizvodnje. Svojstva pjena moguće je naknadno modificirati određenim postupcima toplinske obrade u svrhu ispunjenja složenih eksploatacijskih zahtjeva. Jedan od mehanizma očvršćivanja je toplinsko očvršćivanje koje se provodi postupkom rastopnog žarenja i dozrijevanja nazvano precipitacijsko očvršćivanje. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada izrađeni su uzorci aluminijevih pjena poznati pod nazivom “Alulight“. Zatim je provedeno precipitacijsko očvršćivanje uzoraka metalnih pjena i prateća tlačna ispitivanja na kidalici da bi se odredila specifična apsorpcijska energija.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis metal foams that represent a relatively new type of material with a porous structure and consequently characteristic properties are described. The basic properties of metal foams derive from the type of cell wall material, the shape of the cells (closed and open) and the production process. The properties of the foams can be afterwards modified by certain heat treatment processes in order to meet complex operational requirements. One of the hardening mechanisms is thermal hardening which is carried out by homogenization and aging heat treatment called precipitation hardening. In the experimental part, samples of metal foams were made from a precursor by the process called Alulight. Precipitating hardenings were then performed, followed by pressure testing of the heat-treated samples which were then performed to determine the specific absorption energy.
