Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu će se, uz pomoć priložene literature, dati uvod o Ro-Ro putničkim brodovima, njihov razvoj i analize nesreća. Prilikom nesreće javlja se problematika puteva bježanja na brodu, stoga IMO kroz konvenciju SOLAS donosi pravila evakuacije kojima je cilj spašavanje putnika. Ta pravila obuhvaćaju proračun plana bijega i opreme za spašavanje koju je brod obavezan imati.
Za zadani brod provedena je usporedbu pravila po kojima je projektiran i pravila koja su stupila na snagu 1. siječnja 2020. godine. Analiza evakuacije dodatno je provedena pomoću softverske simulacije gdje se dobiva bolji uvid u rezultate, u radu su opisani principi po kojima softver radi u usporedbi s pojednostavljenom metodom.

Abstract (english)

In this masters work, with the help of the attached literature, an introduction to Ro-Ro passenger ships will be given, as well as their development and accident analysis. In the event of accidents, there is a problem with escape routes on board, so the IMO, through the SOLAS Convention, determines evacuation rules aimed at rescuing passengers. These rules include the financial aspect of the escape plan and rescue equipment the ship is required to have.
For the given ship, a comparison was made of the rules under which it was designed and the rules that came into force on 1 January 2020. The evacuation analysis was additionally performed using a software simulation where a better insight into the results is obtained as the paper also describes the principles according to which the software works in comparison with a simplified method.
