Abstract

U ovom diplomskom zadatku proveden je postupak osnivanja dvojarbolne jedrilice za
oceansku plovidbu. Nakon uvodnih razmatranja o jedrilicama i različitim tipovima istih, u
radu su objašnjeni ključni pojmovi važni za početak projektiranja jedrilice. Analizom baze
sličnih brodova dobivene su početne vrijednosti glavnih parametara broda kao i
odgovarajućih koeficijenata od kojih se započelo s razradom projekta. U programskom paketu
Rhinoceros 5.0 izrađen je i izglađen model forme broda za koji je proveden proračun
hidrostatičkih karakteristika. Zatim je osmišljena adekvatna konfiguracija snasti te su
dimenzionirani njeni dijelovi i analizirana aerodinamička svojstva. Poznata geometrija trupa i
snasti bila je osnova za proračun otpora i izbor motora. Prema pravilima proračunati su
momenti savijanja trupa te je konceptualno definirana struktura. Odabrana je oprema za
sidrenje te je na posljetku provjeren stabilitet broda za dva stanja.
Tijekom cijelog postupka proračunavanja, model je nadopunjavan te je u sklopu rada
izrađen nacrt brodskih linija, nacrt jedrilja, plan palube, plan unutrašnjosti i dijagramni list.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis, the initial design of a double-masted sailboat for ocean navigation was
carried out. After introductory considerations about sailboats and different types of sailboats,
the paper explains the key concepts important for starting the design of a sailboat. The
analysis of the database of similar ships conducted in the course "Small Ships" obtained the
initial values of the boat particulars as well as the corresponding coefficients from which the
designing of the project began. In the Rhinoceros 5.0 software package, a model of the ship's
hull was generated and faired, for which the calculation of hydrostatic characteristics was
performed. Then, a suitable rigging configuration was designed and its parts were
dimensioned and aerodynamic properties were analyzed. The known hull and rigging
geometry was the basis for determining the boat’s resistance and engine. The hull girder
bending moments were calculated according to the rules and the structure was conceptually
defined. Anchoring equipment was selected and finally, the stability of the ship for two load
cases was checked.
During the calculation process, the model has been updated and as part of the project,
a hull lines plan, a sail plan, a deck layout, an interior layout and a diagram sheet were
prepared.
