Utjecaj nasumičnog isključivanja cilindara na potrošnju goriva pri vožnji standardiziranim voznim ciklusom

Abstract

U pogledu smanjivanja potrošnje goriva, svi proizvođači motora s unutarnjim izgaranjem nastoje povećati stupanj djelovanja samog motora. Jedno od rješenja je sustav isključivanja cilindara. Isključivanjem rada jednog ili više cilindara, motor radi u povoljnijem režimu rada kako bi se postigla što manja potrošnja goriva, posebno pri niskom opterećenju i manjim brzinama vrtnje. Istodobno, pri većim opterećenjima i većim brzinama vrtnje, svi cilindri su uključeni, što znači da korisnik i dalje raspolaže dovoljno snažnim motorom u pogledu performansi vozila.
U ovom radu opisan je sustav nasumičnog isključivanja cilindara, DSF, gdje se deaktivacija pojedinih cilindara provodi na razini pojedinih ciklusa. Pri tome se ostvaruje željeni efektivni moment motora uz povoljniju potrošnju goriva. U programskom paketu AVL BOOSTTM izrađen je simulacijski modeli u kojem su analizirane 4 razine isključenosti cilindara koje predstavljaju ekvivalent gustoće paljenja od 25, 50, 75 i 100%. Model motora podešen je tako da daje približne rezultate objavljene od strane proizvođača. Izrađeni su topografski dijagrami specifične efektivne potrošnje goriva za različite razine isključenosti cilindara. Na temelju rezultata iz dijagrama specifične efektivne potrošnje goriva izrađena je optimalna radna mapa motora. S tom optimalnom radnom mapom motora provedena je analiza vožnje po standardiziranom voznom ciklusu te izračunata potrošnja goriva. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata prikazana je ušteda potrošnje goriva.

Abstract (english)

In terms of reducing fuel consumption, all manufacturers of internal combustion engines strive to increase the efficiency of the engine itself. One solution is a cylinder deactivation system. By deactivating one or more cylinders, the engine operates in a more favorable mode to achieve the lowest possible fuel consumption, especially at low loads and lower speeds. At the same time, at higher loads and higher speeds, all cylinders are engaged, which means that the user still has a sufficiently powerful engine in terms of vehicle performance.
This paper describes a system named random cylinder deactivation, DSF, where the deactivation of individual cylinders is carried out at the level of individual cycles. This achieves the desired effective torque of the engine with more favorable fuel consumption. In the AVL BOOSTTM software package, a simulation model was made in which 4 levels of cylinder deactivation were analyzed, which represent the equivalent fire density of 25, 50, 75 and 100%. The engine model is set to give approximate results published by the manufacturer. Topographic diagrams of specific effective fuel consumption for different levels of cylinder deactivation have been made. Based on the results from the specific effective fuel consumption diagram, an optimal working map of the engine was made. With this optimal working map of the engine, the analysis of driving according to the standardized driving cycle was performed and the fuel consumption was calculated. Based on the obtained results, fuel consumption savings are shown.
