Abstract

Dječje autosjedalice zakonom su propisane kao obavezne za djecu do ispunjenja starosnih i antropometrijskih uvjeta. Tržište nudi razna rješenja koja prate faze razvoja djece pa samim time dolazi do kategorizacije sjedalica, odnosno njihovih korisnika. Premda se u zadnjem desetljeću sjedalice koriste više nego ikad prije u povijesti i jednako tako su napredovale, godišnji testovi dječjih autosjedalica pokazuju kako ne postoji 100% sigurna sjedalica i da prostora za poboljšanja ima napretek.
Cilj ovog rada je izrada prijedloga konstrukcijskog poboljšanja dječje autosjedalice koja će omogućiti nova, bolja korisnička iskustva, uz ako je moguće, ostvarivanje još boljih sigurnosnih karakteristika.
U radu je obrađena kategorizacija proizvoda i sukladno tomu njihovih korisnika. Pregledom propisa i odredbi te analizom tržišta, utvrđena je kritična grupa rješenja i odabrana ciljana populacija korisnika. U nastavku su detaljnije promatrane sjedalice iz grupe 2/3 koja uključuje djecu dobi 4-12 godina, težine 15-36 kg te visine 100-150 cm. Uspoređujući njihove prednosti i nedostatke, odabran je referentni model koji se nadalje koristio za vrednovanje generiranih koncepata. Pregledana je baza patenata te su prikazani neki od njih uz navođenje prednosti i nedostataka takvih ideja što je pomoglo pri kreativnom razmišljanju. Na temelju svih ovih spoznaja izlučeni su konstrukcijski i funkcionalni zahtjevi, proveden je tehnički upitnik, određena su ograničenja te definirani ciljevi projekta. Generirani su koncepti koji su međusobno vrednovani prilagođenom metodom potencijala uz istaknute težinske faktore za svaku pojedinu karakteristiku proizvoda. Naposljetku je za konačni prijedlog poboljšanja izrađen idejni CAD model te je diskutirana njegova funkcionalnost uz istaknute ostvarene prednosti i očekivanu tržišnu konkurentnost proizvoda.
Rezultat ovog rada pokazuje mogućnost poboljšanja sigurnosti i ergonomije dječjih autosjedalica na do sada neviđeni način koji bi se prije daljnjeg razmatranja trebao svesti u prototip kako bi se dokazala njegova funkcionalnost.

Abstract (english)

Child car seats are prescribed by law as mandatory for children until certain age and anthropometric conditions have been fulfilled. The market offers a variety of solutions that follow the stages of child development, which leads to the categorization of seats and their users. Although the child car seats have been used in the last decade more than ever in history and have progressed just as well, annual tests for child car seats show that there is no 100% safe seat and that there is still plenty of room for improvement.
The aim of this paper is to develop a proposal of design improvement for a child car seat that will provide new, better user experiences and, if possible, to achieve even better safety features.
The paper deals with the categorization of products and their users accordingly. By reviewing the regulations and market analysis, a critical group of solutions was identified and the target user population selected. Below is a more detailed look at the child car seats from Group 2/3, which includes children aged 4-12 years, weighing 15-36 kg and height of 100-150 cm. A reference model was selected by comparing their advantages and disadvantages which was further used to evaluate the generated concepts. The patent database was reviewed and some of them were presented regarding advantages and disadvantages of such ideas. That helped with creative thinking. Structural and functional requirements were extracted, a technical questionnaire was implemented, limitations were determined, and project objectives were defined on the basis of all these findings. Concepts have been generated and mutually evaluated by the adjusted potential method with prominent weight factors for each individual product characteristic. Finally, a conceptual CAD model was created for the final improvement proposal and its functionality was discussed with the advantages and expected market competitiveness of the product.
The result of this paper demonstrates the possibility of improving the safety and ergonomics of child car seats in an unprecedented way. A prototype should be developed before further consideration to prove its functionality.
