Abstract
Cilj ovog završnog rada je odrediti utjecaj zavarenog spoja na korozijsku postojanost titanija. U teorijskom dijelu rada iznesene su karakteristike titanija i njegovih legura kao i karakteristike zavarljivosti pojedinih faza legura. Opisan je ukratko TIG postupak kojim su izrađeni navari i korozijska postojanost titanija i titanijevih legura. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada u Laboratoriju za zavarivanje izrađeni navari mehaniziranim TIG postupkom na uzorcima titanija pri čemu su korištene dvije mješavine zaštitnog plina. Nakon izvedenog navarivanja u Laboratoriju za zaštitu materijala uzorci su ispitivani u vrućoj 5% NaCl otopini. Temeljem dobivenih rezultata utvrđena je korozijska postojanost zavara titanijevih uzoraka.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis is to determine the influence of welded joint on the corrosion resistance of titanium. The theoretical part of the paper presents the characteristics of titanium and its alloys and also weldability of certain alloy phases. A brief description of the TIG procedure, which was used to produce weld, and corrosion resistance of titanium and titanium alloys.  In the experimental part, the welds were made using a mechanized TIG process on titanium samples with two gas mixtures. After welding, the samples were tested in a hot 5% NaCl solution. Based on the obtained results, the corrosion resistance of titanium samples was determined.
