Abstract

Tema diplomskog rada prikazati je UV-degradaciju biorazgradivih polimernih folija te na temelju izmjerenih vrijednosti vlačne čvrstoće i vlačne žilavosti na degradiranim normiranim ispitnim tijelima ocijeniti postojanost biorazgradive polimerne folije na ultraljubičasto zračenje te analizirati mikrostrukturu iste. U prvom dijelu rada dan je opći prikaz o biorazgradivim polimernim materijalima, njihovoj proizvodnji, svojstvima, primjeni i biorazgradivosti. Također je istražena fotodegradacija materijala s posebnom naznakom na ultraljubičasto zračenje. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada prikazana je izrada epruveta za ispitivanje kao i rad s uređajem za ultraljubičasto zračenje Solarbox 1500 e. U završnom dijelu rada prikazana je usporedba mehaničkih svojstava neozračenih uzoraka s uzorcima ozračenim u različitim vremenskim intervalima (5, 20, 50, 70 sati) te analiza mikrostrukture istih.

Abstract (english)

The thesis shows UV-degradation of the biodegradable polymer foils, and on the basis of measured values of tensile strength and tensile-impact strength on degradable testing bodies, resistance of biodegradable polymer foils to ultraviolet radiation, and changes in microstructure will be shown. The first part of the thesis presents information about biodegradable polymer foils and its manufacturing, properties, application and biodegradability. Photodegradation of materials with particular indication on ultraviolet radiation has been explored. The experimental part of the thesis demonstrates the production of testing bodies and working with the ultraviolet radiation device Solarbox 1500 e. The final stage of the project compares the mechanical properties and microstructure results of the samples that haven’t been submitted to ultraviolet radiation with the results of the samples that have been submitted to ultraviolet radiation in different time intervals (5, 20, 50,70 hours).
