Abstract

Bušenje kostiju predstavlja čest kirurški postupak. U ovom radu razvijen je eksperimentalan laboratorijski postav za bušenje kostiju te su provedena ispitivanja u kojima su mjereni utjecajni parametri u postupku bušenja, kao što su temperatura, aksijalna sila i vrijeme bušenja. Korištena su medicinska i industrijska svrdla, a ispitivanja su provedena na životinjskim kostima i umjetnim materijalima koji oponašaju strukturu kosti.
Uz bušenje konstantnom posmičnom brzinom i konstantnom brzinom vrtnje svrdla, ispitni uzorci su bušeni i konstantnom aksijalnom silom te bušenjem u intervalima. Posebna pozornost je posvećena utjecaju geometrije svrdla na pojedini parametar u postupku bušenja.
Dobiveni eksperimentalni rezultati mogu poslužiti kao smjernica za daljnja istraživanja i optimizaciju parametara bušenja.

Abstract (english)

Bone drilling is a common surgical procedure. In this study, an experimental laboratory setup for bone drilling was developed, and tests were conducted to measure key influencing parameters, such as temperature, axial force, and drilling time. Both medical and industrial drill bits were used, and the tests were performed on animal bones and synthetic materials that simulate bone structure.
In addition to drilling with a constant feed rate and constant drill bit rotation speed, the test samples were also drilled under constant axial force and through interval drilling. Special attention was given to the impact of drill bit geometry on individual parameters during the drilling process.
The obtained experimental results can serve as guidelines for further research and optimization of drilling parameters.
