Abstract

U ovom radu istražuju se svojstva prevlaka TiN i TiCN nanesenih na alatni čelik
X153CrMoV12 pomoću PVD i PACVD postupaka. Cilj rada je analizirati hrapavost, debljinu,
prionjivost i zaostala naprezanja prevlaka kako bi se ocijenila njihova kvaliteta i prikladnost za
primjenu na alatnim čelicima.
Teorijski dio rada obuhvaća pregled alatnih čelika, s naglaskom na visokolegirane alatne čelike
za hladni rad, te opis postupaka PVD i PACVD prevlačenja, svojstava prevlaka TiN i TiCN,
kao i metode ispitivanja prevlaka, uključujući mjerenje hrapavosti, debljine, prionjivosti i
zaostalih naprezanja.
Eksperimentalni dio rada uključuje pripremu četiri uzorka čelika X153CrMoV12, od kojih su
dva prevučena TiN, a dva TiCN prevlakama, korištenjem PVD i PACVD postupaka. Na
uzorcima su provedena ispitivanja hrapavosti površine, debljine prevlake kalotestom,
prionjivosti prema normi VDI 3198 i zaostalih naprezanja metodom rendgenske difrakcije
(XRD).
Rezultati istraživanja poslužit će za ocjenu učinkovitosti različitih postupaka prevlačenja i
svojstava prevlaka u industrijskim primjenama.

Abstract (english)

This thesis investigates the properties of TiN and TiCN coatings applied to X153CrMoV12 tool
steel using PVD and PACVD methods. The aim of the study is to analyze surface roughness,
coating thickness, adhesion, and residual stresses to evaluate the quality and suitability of the
coatings for application on tool steels.
The theoretical part of the thesis includes a review of tool steels, focusing on high-alloy tool
steels for cold working, as well as a description of PVD and PACVD coating processes, the
properties of TiN and TiCN coatings, and the methods for evaluating coatings, including
measurements of surface roughness, thickness, adhesion, and residual stresses.
The experimental part involves the preparation of four X153CrMoV12 tool steel samples, two
of which were coated with TiN and two with TiCN coatings using PVD and PACVD methods.
The samples were tested for surface roughness, coating thickness via calotest, adhesion
according to the VDI 3198 standard, and residual stresses using X-ray diffraction (XRD).
The results of the study will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of different coating methods
and the properties of the coatings in industrial applications.
