Abstract

Zaštitni premazi su najčešće korištena metoda zaštite metala u energetskoj industriji. Primjenjuju se na različite komponente, uključujući cjevovode, spremnike, transformatore i druge ključne dijelove energetskih postrojenja. Sprječavaju koroziju i time osiguravaju dugotrajniji životni vijek konstrukcija i strojeva. Korištenje zaštitnih premaza također doprinosi smanjenju troškova održavanja i povećava sigurnost postrojenja.
U teoretskom dijelu rada obrađena je korozija te njeni najčešći tipovi, metode zaštite od korozije s naglaskom na zaštitu korištenjem prevlaka , objašnjena je norma HRN EN ISO 12944 prema kojoj se projektira sustav prevlaka te opisana ispitivanja koja se provode na premazima.
U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedena su ispitivanja u slanoj i vlažnoj komori, zatim ispitivanje debljine premaza, tvrdoće premaza, prionjivosti premaza, stupnja korozije te elektrokemijska impedancijska spektroskopija.

Abstract (english)

Protective coatings are the most commonly used method for protecting metals in the energy industry. They are applied to various components, including pipelines, tanks, transformers, and other key parts of energy facilities. These coatings prevent corrosion, thus ensuring a longer lifespan for structures and machinery. The use of protective coatings also contributes to reduced maintenance costs and increased plant safety.
The theoretical part of the thesis addresses corrosion and its most common types, methods of corrosion protection with an emphasis on coating protection, explains the HRN EN ISO 12944 standard according to which the coating system is designed, and describes the tests conducted on coatings.
In the experimental part of the thesis, tests were conducted to determine influence of humidity and salt spray chamber, coating thickness, coating hardness, coating adhesion, degree of corrosion, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
