Abstract

Postupak kaljenja je postupak toplinske obrade koji se provodi u svrhu povećanja mehaničkih svojstava materijala. Kaljenje je najpoznatiji postupak toplinske obrade koji se svakodnevno unaprjeđuje i poboljšava u svakom dijelu procesa. Postupak se sastoji od tri faze: grijanja do 𝜗𝑎 (temperatura austentizacije),zatim držanje na 𝜗𝑎 i posljednje gašenje. U radu je potpuno obuhvaćen proces gašenja materijala, te je provedena usporedba različitih sredstava za gašenje. Odabir sredstava za gašenje je izuzetno bitan faktor u određivanju fizikalnih i ostalih svojstava, odabir pogrešnog sredstva za gašenje može uzrokovati nepopravljive posljedice kao što su: prevelika zaostala naprezanja, deformacije i u konačnici lom materijala. U ovom radu će se prikazati 5 različitih sredstava za gašenje, koja će se ispitivati na istom materijalu pri isti uvjetima, a rezultati će biti prikazani preko krivulja gašenja u grafovima. Cilj tada je prikazati karakteristike ispitivanih sredstava za gašenje i pokazati kada se koji može koristiti na kojim materijalima pri kojim uvjetima. U ispitivanju su korištene 4 vrste ulja za kaljenje i voda.

Abstract (english)

The quenching process is a heat treatment procedure carried out for the purpose of increasing mechanical properties of the material. Tempering is the most famous heat treatment process that is improved and improved daily in every part of the process. The process consists of three phases: heating to, ϑa (austentizion tempreture), then holding on to, ϑa. and the last shutdown. The paper completely covers the process of extinguishing materials, and a comparison of different extinguishing agents was carried out. The selection of extinguishing agents is an extremely important factor in determining further physical and other properties, choosing the wrong extinguishing agent can cause irreparable consequences such as: too much residual stress, deformation and ultimately breakage of the material. This paper will show 5 different extinguishing agents, which will be tested on the same material under the same conditions, and the results will be shown through quenching curves in graphs. The aim is then to show the characteristics of the tested extinguishing agents and show when which can be used on which materials under what conditions. 4 types of tempering oil and water were used in the test.
