Abstract

Hibridni kompoziti su materijali koji sadrže dvije ili više vrste vlakana kao ojačanje. Izrađeno je pet vrsta hibridnih kompozitnih materijala od epoksidne smole kao matrice te kombinacije tkanina od staklenih i od lanenih vlakana kao ojačanja, ukupno šest slojeva, od čega su dva staklena. Svaki kompozitni materijal ima različit način slaganja vlakana, odnosno negdje su staklena vlakna u vanjskim slojevima, dok su drugdje lanena. Kombinacija slaganja vlakana je sljedeća: SLLLLS, LLSSLL, LSLLSL, SSSSSS, LLLLLL pri čemu S označava sloj staklenih vlakana, a L sloj lanenih vlakana. Ispitana su goriva svojstva kompozitnih materijala u ovisnosti o rasporedu slaganja vlakana. Izmjerena je i tvrdoća svakog pojedinog materijala te je proveden Martens postupak ispitivanja postojanosti oblika materijala pri povišenim temperaturama. Rezultati pokazuju kako svi ispitani materijali spadaju u klasu K2 otpornosti na gorenje. Također, kompozit izrađen od šest slojeva lanenih vlakana se pokazao najboljim pri ispitivanju otpornosti na gorenje, dok je kompozit ojačan staklom najbrže gorio. Od hibrida kompozit LSLLSL se najlošije ponaša pri gorenju, dok ima najvišu tvrdoću i temperaturu postojanosti oblika.

Abstract (english)

Hybrid composites are materials that contain two or more types of fibers as reinforcement. Five types of hybrid composite materials were made using epoxy resin as the matrix and a combination of glass and flax fibers as reinforcement, totaling six layers, two of which are glass. Each composite material has a different fiber arrangement, with glass fibers in the outer layers in some cases, while flax fibers are used elsewhere. The fiber stacking combinations are as follows: SLLLLS, LLSSLL, LSLLSL, SSSSSS, LLLLLL, where S denotes a layer of glass fibers and L denotes a layer of flax fibers. The fuel properties of the composite materials were tested depending on the fiber stacking arrangement. The hardness of each individual material was measured, and the Martens procedure was used to test the shape stability of the materials at elevated temperatures. The results show that all tested materials fall into the K2 class of fire resistance. Additionally, the composite made of six layers of flax fibers performed the best in terms of fire resistance, while the glass-reinforced composite burned the fastest. Among the hybrids, the LSLLSL composite exhibited the poorest performance in terms of burning, but it had the highest hardness and shape stability temperature.
