Abstract

U ovom radu, nakon opisa polimernih materijala, definicije i klasifikacije, dani su opis i
značajke tehnički uporabljivih polimernih materijala. Zatim su opisana svojstva i obilježja
temeljnih skupina polimernih materijala te je nakon toga dan pregled najvažnijih mehaničkih
svojstava te utjecaji na mehanička svojstva. Budući da se eksperimentalni dio ovog rada svodi
na mjerenje poissonovog faktora, u sljedećim koracima dana je definicija poissonovog faktora,
međusobna ovisnost naprezanja i deformacija te pregled vrijednosti poissonovog faktora za
neke određene polimerne materijale. U eksperimentalnom dijelu dani su opisi, definicije,
mehanička i uporabna svojstva mjerenih polimernih materijala te je provedeno mjerenje
poissonovog faktora. Izmjerene vrijednosti naposljetku su uspoređene s literaturom te je dan
zaključak.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis, after given description of polymer materials, definition and classification, the
description and features of technically usable polymer materials are given. Further, the
properties and characteristics of fundamental groups of polymer materials are described,
followed by an overview of the most important mechanical properties and effects on them.
Since the experimental part of this thesis is based on measurement of poisson’s factor, the
definition of poisson’s factor, the mutual dependence of stress and strain, an overview of the
values of poisson’s factor for some specific polymer materials are given in the following steps.
In the experimental part, descriptions, definitions, mechanical and functional properties of
measured polymer materials are given and the poisson’s factor was measured. The measured
values were finally compared with literature values given in conclusion.
