Abstract

Kako je tema ovog diplomskog rada Numerička analiza čvrstoće kompozitne proteze potkoljenice proizvedene aditivnim tehnologijama, u uvodnom dijelu dana je kratka teorijska podloga o samoj definiciji, povijesti izrade proteza potkoljenica i podjeli trenutno dostupnih komercijalnih proteza. Također, pri razvoju modela bilo je nužno koristiti programe za topološku optimizaciju konstrukcije, stoga je opisan i sažet pregled rada navedenog matematičkog algoritma. Razvoj topološki optimiranih i vlaknima ojačanih kompozitnih konstrukcija sve više zaobilazi primjenu tradicionalnih postupaka proizvodnje i pribjegava upotrebi aditivne proizvodnje. Iz tog razloga su predstavljene tehnologije i materijali za aditivnu proizvodnju kompozitnih materijala pogodnih za proteze potkoljenice.
Drugi dio rada sadržava numeričku simulaciju predstavljenu topološkom optimizacijom izvedenom na prethodno konstruiranom numeričkom modelu. Predložen je polazni pojednostavljeni model sa detaljno opisanim rubnim uvjetima i opterećenjima, te mogućnostima i utjecajima pojedinih parametara na rezultat optimizacije s ciljem minimiziranja mase. Naposljetku za tako topološki optimiran model provedena je dinamička analiza u Abaqus/Standard® programu koristeći mehanička svojstva aditivno proizvedenog kompozitnog materijala. Na kraju rada prikazan je autorov osvrt na temu i rezultate analize.

Abstract (english)

As the topic of this thesis is Numerical analysis of the strength of composite lower leg prostheses produced by additive technologies, the introductory part gives a short theoretical background on the definition itself, the history of lower leg prostheses manufacturing and the classification of currently available commercial prostheses. Also, during the development of the model, it was necessary to use software for the topological optimization of the structure. Therefore, a brief overview and summary of the operation of the mentioned mathematical algorithm is described. The development of topologically optimized and fiber-reinforced composite structures is increasingly bypassing the application of traditional production methods and resorting to the use of additive manufacturing. For this reason, technologies and materials for additive manufacturing of composite materials suitable for lower leg prostheses are presented.
The second part of the thesis consists of a numerical simulation represented by a topological optimization performed on a previously designed numerical model. An initial simplified model is suggested with a detailed description of the boundary conditions and loads, as well as the possibilities and influences of individual parameters on the optimization result with the aim of mass minimization. Finally, for such a topologically optimized model, a dynamic analysis was performed in the Abaqus/Standard® program using mechanical properties of the additively produced composite material. At the end of the thesis, the author's review of the topic and the results of the analysis is presented.
