Abstract

Nelegirani niskougljični čelici imaju široku primjenu u industriji, najčešće pri izradi konstrukcija pa se nazivaju i konstrukcijski čelici. Zbog niskog udjela ugljika pogodni su za zavarivanje. Relativno im je niska cijena pa su to i najzastupljeniji čelici na tržištu.
Kako bi se usporilo ili spriječilo korozijsko djelovanje, jedna od metoda je zaštita materijala prevlakama. Djelovanje prevlaka ovisi o vrsti i debljini prevlake, stupnju njezine kompaktnosti ali o čvrstoći prianjanja na sam materijal.
U radu su opisane vrste korozija prema njihovom djelovanju i oštećivanju materijala. Detaljnije je opisana atmosferska korozija, najrašireniji oblik korozije, te zaštita od korozijskog djelovanja organskim prevlakama.
Eksperimentalnim radom provedeno je korozijsko ispitivanje zavarenih uzoraka zaštićenih prevlakom. Analiziran je stupanj djelovanja korozijskog oštećivanja te utjecaj na prionjivost prevlake.

Abstract (english)

Non-alloyed low carbon steels are widely used in industry. They are often called structural
steels. Due to their small carbon percentage, they are suitable for welding. Their price is
relatively low, so they are the most represented steels in the industry.
In order to slow down or prevent corrosion impact, one method is to protect the material with
coatings. Protection of the coating depends on the type and thickness of the coating, the degree
of its compactness or the strength of adhesion to the material itself.
The paper describes the types of corrosion according to their action and the damage to the
material. Atmospheric corrosion, the most widespread form of corrosion, and protection against
corrosion by organic coatings are described in more detail.
Corrosion testing of welded samples protected by coating was performed by experimental work.
The degree of corrosion damage and the impact on the adhesion of the coating were analyzed.
