Abstract

Tema ovog rada je robusno upravljanja vjetroagregatom s ciljem postizanja željene proizvodnje električne energije pri brzinama vjetra većima od nominalne. Konvencionalni pristup upravljanju vjetroagregatima primjenom PID regulatora ne omogućuje zadovoljavajuće upravljačke performanse u situacijama vremenski promjenjivog vjetra. Zbog navedenog razloga fokus ovog rada je na primjeni robusnih metoda regulacije, konkretno regulatora s kliznim režimom, metode aktivne kompenzacije poremećaja te algebarske estimacije poremećaja. Spomenuti regulatori djeluju u režimu rada vjetrogregata za visoke brzine vjetra gdje se upravljanje vrši zakretom lopatica. Dinamički model sustava dekomponiran je na mehanički, električni i aerodinamički podsustav te podsustav zakreta lopatica. Pri izvodu dinamičkog modela sustava uvedena su određena pojednostavljenja osobito na strani aerodinamčkog podsustava radi jednostavnosti simulacije sustava i sinteze regulatora. Regulatori su testirani s ciljem održavanja brzine vrtnje odnosno proizvedene energije na nominalnoj razini u prisutnosti vremenski promjenjivih vanjskih poremećaja. Na temelju simulacijskih rezultata provedena je usporedna analiza primijenjenih regulatora.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this thesis is robust control of a wind turbine with the aim of achieving the desired electricity production at higher than nominal wind speed. Conventional control methods such as PID control do not provide satisfactory control performance under variable wind conditions. For this reason, the focus of this thesis is the application of robust control methods, specifically sliding mode control, active disturbance rejection control and algebraic disturbance estimation method. Said controllers operate in high wind speed mode, where control is performed by the rotation of the wind turbine blades. The dynamic model of the system is decomposed into a mechanical, electrical and aerodynamic subsystem and a blade rotation subsystem. During the process of deriving a dynamic system model, certain simplifications were introduced, especially on the side of the aerodynamic subsystem in order to simplify the system simulation and the synthesis of the controllers. The controllers were tested with a goal of maintaining the speed and in turn the energy production at nominal levels in the presence of time-varying external disturbances. Based on the simulation results, a comparative analysis of the applied controllers is performed.
