Abstract

Tvrdoća je jedno od osnovnih mehaničkih svojstava koje definira tehničke materijale te uvjetuje njihovu upotrebu u konstrukcijama, izradi alata i strojeva te razvoju novih materijala. Jedna od najzastupljenijih metoda ispitivanja tvrdoće je metoda Vickers koja koristi primijenjenu silu na indentor te na temelju veličine otiska izražava vrijednost tvrdoće. Mjerila tvrdoće moraju održavati mjerna sljedivost koja se provodi sukladno normi HRN EN ISO 6507- 2:2018. U teorijskom dijelu rada opisano je općenito mjerenje tvrdoće metodama za metalne materijale a posebno je opisana metoda Vickers. Opisana je mjerna sljedivost mjerenja tvrdoće te prikazan postupak umjeravanja mjerila tvrdoće sukladno normi HRN EN ISO 6507-2:2018. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedeno je umjeravanje referentnog etalona tvrdoće ZHVµ direktnom i indirektnom metodom, te su dobiveni rezultati analizirani i doneseni zaključci.

Abstract (english)

Hardness is one of the basic mechanical properties of engineering materials and is a factor that affects the selection of a material to be used in structures, production of tools and machines, and development of new materials. One of the most common methods of hardness testing is the Vickers method, which uses an indenter pressed into a surface to a specified force setting the value of hardness based on the size of the impression. Hardness testing machines must maintain the measurement traceability according to the standard HRN EN ISO 6507-2: 2018. The theoretical part of the paper describes the process of measurement of hardness by using methods for metallic materials, whereby the Vickers method is described in more detail. The traceability is described and the procedure of calibration of the hardness tester in accordance with the above-mentioned standard is presented. In the experimental part of the paper, the reference hardness standard ZHVµ was calibrated by using the direct and the indirect method, and the obtained results were analyzed and conclusions were reached.
