Abstract

U radu su izrađeni kompoziti od epoksidne smole s lanenim ojačanjem. Ispitana su savojna i rastezna svojstva, te prividna smična međuslojna čvrstoća ploče s 26,98% lanenih vlakana. Svojstva materijala uspoređena su sa svojstvima koje propisuje Hrvatski registar brodova za kompozite ojačane staklenim vlaknima. Dobiveni kompozit ne zadovoljava minimalne zahtjeve za izradu brodova, s izuzetkom rasteznog modula.
U teorijskom dijelu opisani su osnovni dijelovi od kojih se kompozit sastoji te njihove glavne funkcije, s naglaskom na lanena vlakna kao ojačalo, te vrste matrica (plastomerne i duromerne). Također dan je i pregled nekih biovlakana.

Abstract (english)

In the paper, compositions of epoxy resins were produced with flax reinforcement. This paper deals with the investigation of flexural, tensile properties, and the apparent shear interlayer strength of 26,98% flax fiberboards. The properties of the material were compared with the properties prescribed by the Croatian Register of Shipping for glass fibre reinforced composites. With the exception of the expansion module, the resulting composite does not meet the minimum requirements for the manufacture of ships.
The theoretical part describes the basic parts of composite, their main functions, with an emphasis on flax fibre as an amplifier, and the types of matrix (thermoplastic and thermoset). In addition, there is an overview of some biofibers as well.
