Abstract

U ovom radu opisan je razvoj tehnologije zavarivanja tankostijenih cijevi za ovjesne elemente bolida Formule student.
U teorijskom djelu opisane su karakteristike krom molibden čelika s posebnim naglaskom na primjenu u automobilskoj industriji i izradi šasija. Ukratko su opisani TIG i MIG postupci zavarivanja te navedeni neki primjeri zavarenih proizvoda od krom molibden čelika, tehnologije zavarivanja i primjene istih.
U eksperimentalnom dijelu definirana je priprema spoja te su određeni parametri TIG zavarivanja za dva različita uzorka čeonih zavara. Na zavarenim uzorcima provedena su sljedeća ispitivanja: radiografsko ispitivanje, statički vlačni pokus, analiza geometrije zavara i mjerenje tvrdoće po presjeku zavara.
U konačnici je ocijenjena primjenjivost korištene tehnologije s obzirom na kvalitetu zavara i mehanička svojstva.

Abstract (english)

This paper describes development of the welding technology for the thin wall tubes for suspension elements of Formula student race car.
The theoretical part describes the characteristics of chromium molybdenum steel with special emphasis on the application in the automotive industry and chassis construction. TIG and MIG welding processes are briefly described and some examples of welded products made of chromium molybdenum steel, welding technologies and applications are given.
In the experimental part, the preparation of the joint was defined and the TIG welding parameters were determined for two different samples of butt welds. The following tests were performed on the welded specimens: Radiographic testing of welds, static tensile test, measurement of the weld geometry and hardness test of the weld cross section.
Finally, the applicability of the technology used with respect to weld quality and mechanical properties was evaluated.
