Abstract

Tijekom posljednjeg desetljeća bilježi se intenzivan razvoj tehnike računalne radiografije, cRT (od eng. Computed Radiography Technique), uz istovremeno globalno prihvaćanje tehnologije i u području industrijske radiografije. Implementacija u polje građevinske industrije može se u najvećoj mjeri zahvaliti potencijalnoj primjeni cRT sustava u svrhu karakterizacije materijala u procjenama kvalitete proizvodnje. Obzirom na karakteristike toplinsko izolacijskih materijala ćelijaste strukture koji se koriste u građevinarstvu, kao na primjer ekspandirani polistiren, kvantifikacija pouzdanosti računalne radiografije postaje imperativ. Spoznaja da nema razvijene metodologije računalne radiografije za karakterizaciju nemetalnih materijala kao niti ćelijastih struktura predstavlja motivaciju istraživanja. Da bi se sagledao sadržaj radiografskog slikovnog zapisa, a potom sadržaj i vjerodostojno interpretirao i evaluirao, nužno je poznavati utjecaj pojedinih komponenti karakterizacijskog niza na kvalitetu digitalnog zapisa radiografske slike. Stoga, cilj ove doktorske disertacije je razvoj nove metode karakterizacije materijala ćelijastih struktura, poput ekspandiranoga polistirena, pomoću tehnike računalne radiografije.

Abstract (english)

Over the last decade there has been an intensive development of computed radiography technique, cRT, and at the same time there is an acceptance of technology in the field of industrial radiography. Implementation in the field of building industry may be largely due to the potential application of cRT systems for the purpose of the characterization of materials assessment of production quality. Due to the characteristics of thermal insulation materials with cellular structures used in the building industry, such as expanded polystyrene, quantification of the reliability of computed radiography becomes an imperative. The realization, that there is no developed methodology of characterization of non-metallic materials and materials with cellular structures, represents motivation for this research. In order to grasp the content of digital radiographic image, and then to credibly interprete and evaluate it, it is necessary to understand the influence of all individual components of characterization series on the quality of digital radiographic image. Following that, the aim of this dissertation is to develop new method for the characterization of materials with cell structures, like expanded polystyrene, using computed radiography technique.
