Abstract

Rad prikazuje mogućnost uporabe aluminijeve oksidne keramike s različitim udjelom otpadnog keramičkog praha, te usporedbu gustoće, sakupljanja i mikrostrukture prije i poslije sinteriranja. Otpadni prah nastaje različitim postupcima obrade (kao na primjer: brušenje, tokarenje, glodanje itd.) zelenih sirovaca. Navedeni sekundarni (otpadni) prah ne zagađuje okoliš, te se smije odlagati na uređena odlagalištu otpada, no problem je što se ne može razgraditi. U ovom radu proučena je mogućnost uporabe otpadnog praha aluminijeva oksida njegovim dodavanjem u novi keramički prah. Postupkom lijevanja stabilnih vodenih Al2O3 suspenzija izrađeni su uzorci bez i s 20 % sekundarnog praha, te je dodatno uzorcima, nakon primjene konvencionalnog postupka sinteriranja, određena Arhimedova gustoća i sakupljanje te analizirana mikrostruktura.

Abstract (english)

The Bachelor thesis shows the possibility of using aluminium oxide (or alumina) ceramics with different content of waste ceramic powder and a comparison of density, shrinkage and microstructure before and after sintering. Waste powder is produced by various machining operations (such as: grinding, turning, milling, etc.) of ceramic green bodies. The specified secondary (i.e. waste) powder does not pollute the environment and may be disposed of in a legal landfill, but the problem is that it cannot be broken down. This thesis studies the possibility of using scrap aluminium oxide powder by adding it to the new ceramic powder. The process of casting a stable aqueous Al2O3 suspension produced samples without and with 20 % of the secondary powder. Samples were sintered using the conventional sintering procedure, the Archimedes density and shrinkage were determined, and the microstructure was analyzed.
