Abstract
Tvrtka KOPACK u suradnji sa Fakultetom strojarstva i brodogradnje izradila je prototip invalidskih kolica koji imaju mogućnost kretanja po stepenicama. U ovom radu napravljen je pregled nekoliko različitih elektroničkih invalidskih kolica te objašnjen njihov princip svladavanja stepenica uz navođenje njihovih prednosti i nedostataka . Kako su invalidska kolica KOPACK u razvojnoj fazi bilo je potrebno predložiti rješenja senzora sa svom potrebnom dodatnom opremom koja će automatizirati proces penjanja i spuštanja te pomoći vozaču kontrolirati vozilo.
Abstract (english)
Cooperating with The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, the KOPACK company has developed a prototype of a wheelchair that enables the user to climb the stairs. This paper reviews several different electronical types of wheelchairs and explains the way in which they deal with stairs, while their advantages and disadvantages are also emphasized. Since the KOPACK wheelchair is still in the development stage, it was necessary to suggest sensor solutions along with all the necessary additional equipment which will render the climbing process automatic and help the user to control the wheelchair.
