Abstract

Tema ovog rada su tvrdi metali uključivo njihov kemijski sastav, mikrostuktura, svojstva, mehanizmi trošenja i područje primjene. Najzahtjevnija primjena tvrdih metala je za alate koji se koriste za obradu odvajanjem čestica. Ovisno o materijalu, uvjetima rada i načinu rada na reznoj oštrici javljaju se određeni oblici trošenja. Matematičkim putem trošenje je gotovo nemoguće detektirati i kvantificirati. Stoga se danas velika pažnja posvećuje eksploatacijskim ispitivanjima te je u eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedeno ispitivanje trošenja jednoreznim alatom u približno realnim radnim uvjetima kako bi se razmotrilo koji se oblici trošenja najčešće javljaju kod reznih alata. Radi se obradi tokarenjem pri čemu je rezna pločica od tvrdog metala, a kao obradak koristi se trupac od sivog lijeva. Nakon obrade, kamerom se snimaju određene površine rezne oštrice te se pomoću odgovarajućeg računalnog programa mjere oštećenja na prednjoj i stražnjoj površini reznog alata. Razmatranjem rezultata mjerenja dolazi se do zaključka koji su mehanizmi trošenja dominantni na tvrdo-metalnoj reznoj pločici.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this paper are hard metals including their chemical composition, microstructure, properties, wear mechanisms and application area. The most demanding application of hard metals is for tools used for particle separation processing. Depending on the material, operating conditions and operation of the cutting blade there are certain forms of wear. Mathematical wear is almost impossible to detect and quantify. Therefore, great attention is paid today to the exploitation tests and in the experimental part of the work, a one-tool wear test was carried out in roughly realistic working conditions to consider which forms of wear most often occur in cutting tools. It is machined by turning, whereby the cutable is made of hard metal, and as a grain is used a gray cast iron. After processing, the camera captures certain areas of the cutting blade and uses the appropriate computer program to measure the damage to the front and back surface of the cutting tool. Considering the measurement results, it comes to the conclusion that the wear mechanisms are dominant on the hard-metal cutting plate.
