Abstract

Tema ovog rada je odrediti koja metoda nitriranja prstena valjnog ležaja daje najbolje rezultate. Nitriranje je provedeno u 3 različita medija: plazmi, solnoj kupci i plinu. U teorijskom dijelu rada opisane su metode nitriranja, tribosustav valjnog ležaja i mehanička naprezanja koja se javljaju prilikom rada ležaja. U eksperimentalnom dijelu su provedena ispitivanja adhezijskog trošenja metodom prizma na prstenu, mjerenje hrapavosti površine i mikrotvrdoće te je provedena i metalografska analiza prstena. Rezultati su pokazali kako je nitriranje u solnoj kupci TENIFER dalo najveću efektivnu dubinu nitriranja. Nitriranjem u plinu postigla se najviša površinska tvrdoća dok su se nitriranjem u plazmi parametri hrapavosti i faktor trenja najmanje povisili.

Abstract (english)

The subject of this report is to examine which nitriding method produces best results when applied to the ring of a rolling bearing. The ring is nitrided in 3 different mediums: plasma, salt bath and gas. Nitriding methods, tribological system of the rolling bearing and mechanical stresses that appear in the bearing are described in the theoretical part of the report. Block-on-ring rolling wear test, surface roughness and microhardness measurements as well as the metallography analysis of the ring is conducted in the experimental part of the report. Based on results, nitriding in TENIFER salt bath has given the greatest effective depth of nitriding. Surface hardness was highest when using gas nitriding, while roughness parameters and friction coefficient were lowest when using nitriding in plasma
