Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je pružiti osnove za početak izrade formule student pogonjene električnim motorom i pri tome primijeniti stečena znanja tokom studiranja. U radu je opisan detaljan postupak proračuna osnovnih karakteristika električne formule i izrade simulacijskog modela. Budući da se radi o realnom projektu koji nakon dvije godine od začetka mora imati proizvod - formulu, koja radi i konkurira na svjetskim natjecanjima važno je raditi efikasno i ne gubiti vrijeme. Tako je bitno pobrinuti se da trajanje proračuna i simulacija ne oduzme puno vremena, ali da također krajnji rezultati i podatci imaju potrebnu točnost. Simulacija će tako obuhvatiti što je moguće više bitnih i utjecajnih fizikalnih pojava, a zanemariti pojave koje imaju malog utjecaja na krajnju točnost podataka, a oduzele bi mnogo vremena pri modeliranju. Kako bi FSB Racing team (formula student team zagrebačkog sveučilišta) mogao započeti sa izradom CAD modela formule i nabavkom komponenti važno je znati neke od sljedećih parametara vozila: snaga motora, potreban kapacitet baterije, radne temperature baterije, radne temperature motora, potrebne veličine hladnjaka rashladnih sustava i slično, a koje će biti određene ovim radom.

Abstract (english)

The goal of this thesis is to provide the basics for starting the development of a formula student car powered by an electric motor and to apply acquired knowledge during the study. This thesis describes a detailed procedure for calculating the basic characteristics of the electric formula and the making of a simulation model. Since this is a real-world project which, after two years from the beginning of the project has to have a finished product – a formula, that works and competes on national competitions it is important to work effectively and not to waste time. So, it is important to ensure that the duration both the calculation and the simulation does not take much time, but also that the final results and data have the required accuracy. Simulation will cover as many important and influential physical phenomena as possible, and ignore the phenomena that have little impact on the ultimate accuracy of the data but take a lot of time while modeling. In order for the FSB Racing Team (a Formula Team student at the University of Zagreb) to begin with the CAD model design and components procurement, it is important to know some of the following vehicle parameters: engine power, battery capacity required, battery operating temperature, engine operating temperature and so on, and those will be defined by this thesis.
