Abstract

Grafen je relativno novi materijal izvrsnih električnih, toplinskih i mehaničkih svojstava. Smatra se materijalom budućnosti i još je uvijek u fazi istraživanja. U radu se provelo nanošenje sloja grafena na bakrene epruvete kemijskim taloženjem u parnoj fazi. Površina bakrenih epruveta pripremljena je na dva načina: epruvete očišćene samo u dušičnoj kiselini i epruvete očišćene u dušičnoj kiselini, acetonu i izopropilnom alkoholu. Nakon nanešenog sloja grafena na bakreni supstrat provedena je karakterizacija. Za analizu površine provedena je analiza skenirajućim elektronskim mikroskopom i metalografska analizu. Provedena je usporedba mehaničkih svojstva čistog bakra i uzoraka s nanešenim slojem. Mehanička ispitivanja koja su provedena su: statičko vlačno ispitivanje, savojno ispitivanje, te ispitivanje tvrdoće.

Abstract (english)

Graphene is a relatively new material with excellent electrical, thermal and mechanical properties. It is considered as the material of the future and it is still in the reasearch phase. This thesis deals with the growth of graphene layer on copper substrates by Chemical Vapor Deposition method. The surface of the copper samples is prepared in two ways: samples cleaned only in nitric acid and samples cleaned in nitric acid, acetone and isopropyl alcohol. After the applied layer of graphene, characterization was performed. For surface analysis scanning electronic microscope analysis and metallographic analysis were made on samples. A comparison of mechanical properties was performed between pure copper samples and samples with graphene layer. The mechanical tests which were carried out were: static tensile test, bending test and hardness test.
