Abstract

U ovom radu prikazana je analiza naprezanja gornjeg prednjeg ramena ovjesa trkaćeg bolida Formule student Strix. U sklopu rada napravljena je analiza naprezanja ramena ovjesa za statičko opterećenje te za dinamičko opterećenje u ispitnoj proceduri Skidpad. Ovjes je modeliran u programskom paketu Solidworks 2014. Nakon određivanja vanjskog opterećenja u programskom paketu CarSim 8.1., izračunate su reakcijske sile u Solidworks Motionu za tri slučaja statičkog opterećenja. Nadalje, nakon što su izračunate reakcijske sile, proveden je proračun čvrstoće metodom konačnih elemenata u programskom paketu Abaqus 6.12. Za analizu naprezanja korištena je opcija automatskog umrežavanja mreže te je prikazana konvergencija pomaka. Tijekom analize naprezanja korišteni su izoparametarski tetraedarski konačni elementi 1. reda Za dvije točke na cijevima gornjeg ramena prednjeg ovjesa prikazana su naprezanja ovisno o slučaju opterećenja. Dodatno, prikazano je korištenje tenzometarskih traka, podjela traka i postupak mjerenja deformacija tenzometarskim trakama. Prikazani su svi potrebni elementi za ispitivanje tenzometarskim trakama, shema spajanja svih elemenata te raspodjela traka na gornjem ramenu prednjeg ovjesa bolida u dvije odabrane točke. U zadnjem poglavlju iznesen je analitički postupak preraspodjele opterećenja u zavoju kod ispitne procedure Skidpad. Određivanjem vertikalnog opterećenja analitičkim proračunom i bočnog opterećenja u CarSimu prevedena je analiza naprezanja u Abaqusu 6.12. Na kraju rada prikazan je dijagram toka analize naprezanja.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis the stress analysis of the upper front suspension arm of Formula Student race car Strix is presented. This study is focused on the stress analysis of suspension arm for static load cases, as well as the dynamic load case using Skidpad test procedure. The software package SolidWorks 2014 was used to design the suspension system. After determining the external load in software package CarSim 8.1., the reaction forces were calculated using SolidWorks Motion software package for three static load cases. Furthermore, after calculating the reaction forces, the strength calculation using finite element method in the software package Abaqus 6.12 was carried out. The adaptivity mesh was used to perform the stress analysis, also, convergence of finite element method. During the stress analysis, the isoparametric tetrahedral finite elements 1st order were used. Depending on the load case, the stresses results for two points on upper arm tubes were presented. Furthermore, usage of strain gauges, classification of strain gauges and the measurement procedure are explained. The elements necessary for this testing were shown, as well as the connection diagram of all elements and the distribution of strain gauges on the upper front suspension arm in two selected points. In the final chapter is presented the analytical process of load redistribution in the turn of Skidpad test procedure. After determining vertical load analytically and lateral load in CarSim, the stress analysis was performed in Abaqus 6.12. Finally, the flow chart for stress analysis of suspension system components was presented.
