Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je razviti učinkovit sustav stabilizacije plovila, koji koristi giroskopski uređaj za
smanjenje nagiba broda uzrokovano valovima ili bočnim silama. Zahtjevi koje stabilizator treba
ispuniti su da se amplituda kuta ljuljanja pri vanjskoj pobudi smanji za barem 50 % te da se
broj oscilacija ljuljanja broda od puštanja s određenog nagiba do amplitude ljuljanja od 2
stupnja također smanji za 50 %. Ideja rada je obuhvatiti postupak projektiranja, izrade
dinamičkog modela, simulacije, izrade, montaže, programiranja i testiranja giroskopskog
stabilizatora smještenog u maketu broda.
U uvodu će se dati teoretske osnove pomorstvenosti broda i teoretske osnove giroskopa, a
potom će se izvesti dinamički model sustava za simulaciju i provest će se simulacija u programu
Matlab. Nakon toga će se opisati korištene komponente stabilizatora. Zatim slijedi prikaz tijeka
konstruiranja dijelova modela u programu SolidWorks. Sama izrada modela će se prikazati u
zasebnom poglavlju, isto kao i testiranja gotove makete i usporedba sa simulacijama na kraju.

Abstract (english)

The goal of this work is to develop an efficient vessel stabilization system that utilizes a
gyroscopic device to reduce the ship's roll caused by waves or lateral forces. The requirements
for the stabilizer are that the amplitude of the roll angle under external excitation is reduced by
at least 50 %, and that the number of roll oscillations from a specific tilt angle to an amplitude
of 2 degrees is also reduced by 50 %. The concept of the project encompasses the design
process, dynamic model development, simulation, production, assembly, programming, and
testing of the gyroscopic stabilizer installed in a ship model.
The introduction will provide the theoretical foundations of ship seakeeping and the principles
of the gyroscopic stabilization, followed by the development of the dynamic model for system
simulation, and the simulation will be conducted using Matlab software. After that, the
components used in the stabilizer system will be described. Next, the design process for the
model parts in SolidWorks will be presented step by step. The model fabrication will be
detailed in a separate chapter, as will the testing of the completed model and the final
comparison with the simulations.
