Abstract

U naftno-plinskim postrojenjima cjevovodi i oprema su često izloženi visokim temperaturama i tlakovima. Brtvljenje je bitno za postizanje nepropusnih spojeva, a u takvim ekstremnim uvjetima se koriste spiralno-metalne brtve od austenitnog nehrđajućeg čelika s grafitnim punilom.
U teorijskom dijelu rada opisani su prirubnički spojevi te objašnjeni problemi s kojima se prirubnički spojevi u praksi susreću. Prikazana su svojstva, konstrukcija i radni uvjeti spiralno-metalnih brtvi. Definirani su nehrđajući čelici, s posebnim naglaskom na austenitne nehrđajuće čelike. Opisan je postupak galvanskog prevlačenja kao i elektrokemijska ispitivanja korozije.
U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedena je analiza i sistematizacija oštećenja spiralno-metalnih brtvi. Nerazornim metodama određeni su kemijski sastav, hrapavost površine te debljina prevlake brtvi. Na metalografski pripremljenim uzorcima analizirana je mikrostruktura te je provedeno ispitivanje mikrotvrdoće. Ispitana su i elektrokemijska svojstva brtvi. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata donesen je zaključak i dan prijedlog za održavanje prirubničkih spojeva.

Abstract (english)

In oil and gas facilities, pipelines and equipment are often exposed to high temperatures and pressures. Sealing is crucial for achieving leak-proof joints, and in such extreme conditions, spiral wound gaskets made of austenitic stainless steel with graphite filler are used.
In the theoretical part of the paper, flange joints are described, and the problems encountered by flange joints in practice are explained. The properties, construction, and operating conditions of spiral wound gaskets are presented. Stainless steels are defined, with special emphasis on austenitic stainless steels. The process of electroplating and electrochemical corrosion testing is explained.
In the experimental part of the paper, an analysis and systematization of spiral wound gasket damage were carried out. The chemical composition, surface roughness, and coating thickness of the gaskets were determined by non-destructive methods. The microstructure was analyzed on metallographically prepared samples, and microhardness testing was performed. The electrochemical properties of the gaskets were also tested. Based on the obtained results, a conclusion was drawn and a maintenance proposal for flange joints was provided.
