Abstract

U diplomskom radu opisani su transformatorski kotlovi, uvjeti njihovog rada te osnovna podjela
prema veličini i namjeni. Navedeni su i opisani čelici koji se koriste u proizvodnji
transformatorskih kotlova, najvažniji korozijski procesi kojima čelici mogu biti izloženi te
mehanizmi zaštite od korozije. Detaljno je opisan postupak korozijske zaštite nanošenjem
premaza i prateći normativni dokumenti. Na konkretnom primjeru prikazane su sve faze
postupka nanošenja premaza, od odabira prikladnog sustava preko pripreme površine čelika i
nanošenja premaza do nadzora i kontrole kvalitete. Naglašena je važnost pridržavanja propisa
i pratećih normi kako bi se osigurala unificiranosti i ponovljivost te postigla kvalitetna i
dugotrajna zaštita čelične konstrukcije transformatorskog kotla

Abstract (english)

In this thesis, transformer tanks are described, along with their operating conditions and basic
classification according to size and purpose. The steels used in the production of transformer
tanks are listed and described. Crucial corrosion processes to which steels may be exposed to,
and mechanisms of corrosion protection are explained as well. The process of corrosion
protection with coatings is described in detail, along with accompanying normative documents.
Using a specific example, all steps of the coating application process are presented, from
selecting an appropriate system, preparing the steel surface, applying the coating, to quality
control and supervision. The importance of compliance with regulations and accompanying
standards is emphasized to ensure uniformity, repeatability with the goal to achieve quality and
long-lasting protection of the steel structure of the transformer tank.
