Abstract

Centralizirani toplinski sustavi važan su dio energetskog sustava i njihova je funkcija priprema topline i potrošne tople vode za korisnike na razini države ili grada. Slijedom novih izazova s kojima se mnoge zemlje suočavaju u smanjenju emisije CO2 i sve veće integracije obnovljivih izvora energije, sustavi grijanja zasigurno će doživjeti promjene vezane uz izvore topline ili distribucijski sustav. Integracija otpadne topline iz gradskih toplinskih izvora jedan je od mogućih načina povećanja udjela obnovljivih izvora energije. Trenutno, sustavi ispuštaju značajan dio otpadne topline u okoliš, a mogla bi se iskoristiti u pokrivajući dio toplinskih potreba krajnjih korisnika. Stoga je u ovom diplomskom radu analiziran način integracije novih gradskih izvora topline u postojeći centralizirani toplinski sustav. Najprije su utvrđene toplinske potrebe za grijanje i analiziran trenutni centralizirani toplinski sustav. Potom su pomoću programskog paketa QGIS mapirani izvori otpadne topline s naglaskom na supermarkete, trgovačke centre, podatkovne centre i trafostanice. Promatrano područje je podijeljeno na različite distrikte kako bi se odredio radijus ekonomske isplativosti. Korištenjem termodinamičkog modela svakog promatranog izvora izračunati su potencijali otpadne topline i temperatura tijekom svakog sata u jednoj godini u programskom paketu Excel. Izračunate količine integrirane su u sustav daljinskog grijanja te je napravljena ekonomska, ekološka i energetska analiza svakog promatranog distrikta.

Abstract (english)

District heating systems are an important part of the energy system and their function is to prepare heat and domestic hot water for users at the state or city level. Following the new challenges that many countries are facing to reduce CO2 emissions and the increasing integration of renewable energy sources, district heating systems will certainly experience changes related to heat sources or the distribution system. Integration of waste heat from urban heat sources is one of the possible ways to increase the share of renewable energy sources. Currently, the systems release a significant part of waste heat into the environment, while it could be used in DH and cover part of the heat needs of end users. Therefore, in this thesis, the method of integrating new urban heat sources into the existing centralized heat system was analysed. First, the thermal needs for heating were determined and the district heating system was analysed. Then, waste heat sources were mapped using the QGIS software package with an emphasis on supermarkets, shopping centres, data centres, and power substations. The observed area is divided into different districts to determine the radius of the economic feasibility. Using the thermodynamic model of each observed source, the waste heat potentials and temperature were calculated during each hour in one year in the Excel software package. The calculated amounts were integrated into the district heating system and an economic, ecological, and energy analysis of each observed district was carried out.
