Abstract

U ovom radu detaljno je opisan proces proizvodnje piva, s posebnim naglaskom na ambalažu za pivo. Navedene su osnovne sirovine za proizvodnju piva kao i procesi proizvodnje piva. Detaljno je opisana ambalaža za pivo, njene prednosti i nedostaci te suvremeni problemi održivosti. Naglašena je problematika plastične i metalne ambalaže za pivo u vidu stvaranja velikih količina otpada zbog neadekvatnog zbrinjavanja. Isto tako, opisana je i problematika ugljičnog otiska s kojim se sve veće pivovare danas susreću. Istražena je mogućnost primjene biorazgradive papirnate ambalaže za pivo kao rješenje suvremenih problema u pivarskoj industriji. Razmotrena je mogućnost implementacije papirnate ambalaže za pivo u postojeće punionice te zamjena plastične ambalaže papirnatom. Ponuđeno je rješenje u vidu oblikovanja biorazgradive papirnate ambalaže te njenog pakiranja za daljnji transport i skladištenje. Isto tako, opisana je linija za proizvodnju i punjenje piva u plastičnu ambalažu te su ponuđene izmjene kako bi se omogućila implementacija biorazgradive papirnate ambalaže u već postojeći sustav.

Abstract (english)

This paper describes in detail the process of beer manufacturing, with a special emphasis on beer packaging. Basic raw materials for beer production as well as beer production processes are listed. The packaging for the beer, its advantages and disadvantages, and the modern sustainability issues are described in detail. The issue of plastic and metal packaging for beer is highlighted in the form of large amounts of waste due to inadequate disposal. Also, the issue of the carbon footprint, that all larger breweries are facing today, is described. The possibility of using biodegradable paper packaging for beer is investigated as a solution to contemporary problems in the brewing industry. The possibility of implementation of paper packaging for beer in existing bottlers and replacing plastic packaging is considered. A solution in the form of biodegradable paper packaging and its packaging for further transportation and storage is offered. The production line for filling the beer in plastic packaging is also described and changes are offered to enable the implementation of biodegradable paper packaging in an already existing system.
