Abstract

BIM je vrlo opsežan pojam, te zahvaća mnoge aspekte rada i poslovanja neke tvrtke. Zbog toga je cilj ovog diplomskog rada objasniti BIM u cijelosti, te prezentirati važnost BIM-a i prednosti koje ovaj pristup donosi. Obzirom da BIM povećava kvalitetu projekata, donosi brojne uštede i poboljšava upravljanje građevinskim projektima; razvidno je da je BIM usko povezan sa projektnim menadžmentom. Stoga su nakon uvodnog poglavlja, objašnjeni pojmovi projekta i projektnog menadžmenta. Nadalje, objašnjena je povezanost BIM-a i projektnog menadžmenta, uloge ljudi unutar određenog projekta, životni ciklus projekta, metode za uspješno vođenje projekata, itd. Također, kako BIM ne bi ostao samo neki apstraktni pojam, opisan je općeniti postupak implementacije na razini tvrtke i na nivou projekta, problemi koji se javljaju tokom implementacije, te su definirane strategije za eliminaciju tih problema. Na kraju je prikazan postupak implementacije BIM-a u tvrtki Elektroprojekt d.d., te su navedene prednosti koje su ostvarene korištenjem istoga.

Abstract (english)

BIM is a very broad term, that covers many aspects of a company’s work and operations. Therefore, the intention of this paper is to explain BIM in its entirety, but also to present the importance of BIM and the advantages that this approach brings. Considering that BIM increases the quality of projects, brings numerous savings and improves the management of construction projects; it is clear that BIM is closely related to project management. Therefore, after the introductory chapter, the concepts of project and project management are explained. Furthermore, the connection between BIM and project management is explained, as well as the roles of people within a specific project, project life cycle, methods for successful project management, etc. Also, so that BIM does not remain just an abstract term, the general implementation procedure at the organization and project level is described, as well as the problems that arise during the implementation and the strategies for eliminating these problems. At the end, the process of implementing BIM in the company Elektroprojekt d.d. is presented, and the advantages achieved by using it are listed.
