Abstract
S današnjim razvitkom tehnologije rastu mogućnosti modificiranja površina metala i njihovih legura primjenom inženjerstva površine kojim se uz prihvatljive troškove na površini materijala stvara specifičan sloj koji zadovoljava određene eksploatacijske karakteristike. U radu su ispitana svojstva TiN prevlake nanesene na Ti leguru. Ispitni uzorci su bili dimenzija 17 x 17 x 7 mm. Površine dvaju uzoraka su prije nanošenja prevlake obrađene femtosekundnim laserom u svrhu pripreme površine za bolje prianjanje prevlake dok je treći uzorak samo poliran. Ispitana je hrapavost površine prije i poslije nanošenja prevlake, tvrdoća, prionjivost prevlake i debljina prevlake.
Abstract (english)
With today's development of technology, a large number of possibilities modifying the surface of metals and their alloys by applying surface engineering are being discovered. It allows the material to meet certain conditions during exploitation by creating a specific layer on top, all at an acceptable price. This paper specifically examines the quality of TiN coatings applied to Ti alloys. The test specimens in the experiment were blocks made of the Ti6Al4V alloy measuring 17x17x7 mm each. Two samples were laser surface treated with a femtosecond laser before applying the coating for better adhesion of the coating, while the third sample was only polished. Surface roughness befor and after the coating, surface hardness and coating adhesiveness were examined in order to conclude if PVD TiN coatings are appropriate to apply on Ti alloys.
