Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad donosi pregled suvremenih trendova na području obnovljivih izvora energije u Hrvatskoj, Europi te ostatku svijeta, a najveći fokus stavljen je na vjetroelektrane i njihov razvoj u Republici Hrvatskoj. Objašnjeni su i koraci zakonske procedure kroz koje je potrebno proći da bi se vjetroelektrana izgradila i pustila u pogon. S ciljem bolje predodžbe načina planiranja i razvoja takvih projekata, uz pomoć računalnog programa WindPRO modelirana je vjetroelektrana na stvarnoj lokaciji, uz pomoć realnih podataka o terenu, klimatskih podataka te mjerenja brzine vjetra s mjernog stupa. Računalnom simulacijom predviđena je njena godišnja proizvodnja električne energije te gubici u proizvodnji. Provedena je i ekonomska analiza investicije u ovakvo postrojenje kako bi se stekao uvid u funkcioniranje vjetroelektrane u tržišnim uvjetima koji se očekuju u bliskoj budućnosti i u Hrvatskoj. Na kraju je proveden i izračun LCOE koji predstavlja iznos prodajne cijene električne energije potreban za ostvarenje povrata kapitala uloženog u modeliranu vjetroelektranu.

Abstract (english)

This thesis gives an overview of modern trends in the field of renewable energy industry in Croatia, Europe and the rest of the world, with the special focus on the wind power plants and their development in the Republic of Croatia. The steps of the legal procedures and permits needed for installing and commissioning of a wind power plant in Croatia were also listed and described in detail. In order to better understand planning and development procedures, in the WindPRO software, the wind power plant was modelled on a real site, with the realistic terrain and climate data, and measurements from the met mast. For the modelled wind power plant, average annual production and production losses were calculated using simulation tools in WindPRO. An economic analysis of the investment in this plant was conducted to evaluate its performance in the market conditions, which are soon to be applied for wind power plants in Croatia. Finally, the LCOE was calculated in order to assess the price of electricity needed for the return of the investment in the modelled wind power plant.
