Abstract

Autoindustrija je jedna od najkompetitivnijih i najmasovnijih industrija na svijetu. Svake godine proizvede se više od 70 milijuna vozila pogonjenih motorima s unutarnjim izgaranjem i ta brojka se iz godine u godinu povećava. Tolika količina vozila proizvodi ogromne količine štetnih ispušnih plinova, a vremena kada se o utjecaju na okoliš nije vodilo računa davno su prošla. More industriju na sve veća ulaganja u razvoj novih tehnologija i prilagodbu proizvoda. Istodobno je pritisak konkurencije sve veći, vozila postaju jeftinija i proizvođači moraju smanjiti troškove na svim razinama, od razvoja do proizvodnje.

Provedba eksperimentalnih istraživanja u razvoju motora s unutarnjim izgaranjem izrazito je skupa i zahtjeva puno vremena. Napredak računalne tehnologije i programskih paketa omogućuje zamjenu eksperimentalnih istraživanja računalnim simulacijama koje štede vrijeme i novac. Jedan od takvih programa je i AVL BOOST koji je korišten u izradi ovog rada.

U svrhu provedbe računalne simulacije prikupljeni su postojeći eksperimentalni podaci na nekoliko radnih točaka na eksperimentalnom motoru Hatz 1D81 u Laboratoriju za motore i vozila, Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje. Mjerenja su izvršena pri punom opterećenju, stehiometrijskom omjeru goriva i zraka i na brzinama vrtnje od 1000, 1600 i 2200 min-1. U simulacijskom je modelu za kalibraciju konstanti emisije štetnih plinova korišten tablični 2-Z model izgaranja temeljen na brzini oslobađanja topline izmjerene u eksperimentu. Abstract (english)

Auto industry is one of the most competitive and the most massive industries in the world. Every year, more than 70 million vehicles with internal combustion engines are produced and this figure increases year by year. That many vehicles produce huge amount of harmful exhaust gases, and the time has come to think about their impact on the environment. Motor vehicles are subject to increasingly stringent legislation on reducing emissions of pollutants that force the industry to invest... More more and more in the development of new technologies and product optimization. At the same time, the pressure of competition is increasing, cars are becoming cheaper and manufacturers have to cut costs at all levels, from development to production.

Implementing experimental research into the development of internal combustion engines is extremely expensive and requires a lot of time. The advancement of computing technology and software packages allows replacement of experimental research with computer simulations which save time and money. One such program is the AVL BOOST used in this work.

In order to run a computer simulation, existing experimental data were collected at several engine operating conditions on the Hatz 1D81 engine at the Engine and Vehicle Laboratory, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture Experimental dana were collected at full load, stoichiometric air to fuel ratio and at speeds of 1000, 1600 and 2200 rpm. In the simulation model for the calibration of the emissions, a table 2-Z combustion model was used based on the rate of heat release measured in the experiment.
