Abstract

Današnji način života koji uključuje smanjenu tjelesnu aktivnost i nepravilnu ishranu, dovodi do sve češćih bolesti i ozljeda zgloba kuka. Bolesti zgloba kuka se uglavnom očituju jakom boli i ukočenosti zgloba. Još od prve ugradnje endoproteze zgloba kuka, one se neprestano razvijaju i u današnje vrijeme je to postala rutinska operacija nakon koje je kvaliteta života pacijenta znatno poboljšana.
U ovom radu opisan je zglob kuka te endoproteze zgloba kuka, opisan je proces 3D skeniranja uzorka endoproteze kuka, pomoću čega je dobiven CAD model femuralne komponente uzorka. Na tom modelu je pomoću metode konačnih elemenata numeričkom simulacijom određena raspodjela naprezanja i pomaka za slučaj normalnog hoda čovjeka.

Abstract (english)

Today's way of life that includes reduced physical activity and irregular diet in an increasing manner causes hip joint illnesses and injuries. Hip joint illnesses are mostly manifested in severe pain and joint stiffness. Ever since the first hip arthroplasty, hip endoprostheses are continuously developing and in today's time hip replacement surgery is a routine procedure after which the quality of patient's life is considerably higher.
In this thesis hip joint and hip endoprostheses are described, as well as 3D scanning procedure and the way femural component CAD model was obtained from 3D scans. Stress and strain distribution for a load case typical for walking were obtained by numerical simulation with finite element method and are shown on the same model.
