Abstract

Osnovni cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je odrediti intenzitet abrazijskog trošenja drva ariša (Larix) u poprečnom, radijalnom i tangencijalnom presjeku te utjecaj veličine abrazivnih čestica na intenzitet trošenja.
Ispitivanje otpornosti na abrazijsko trošenje provedeno je pomoću uređaja Taber abrader koristeći različite kvalitete brusnog papira od P80 do P800. Također su izmjerene tvrdoće uzoraka na tri osnovna presjeka pomoću Brinellove metode.
Analizom prikupljenih rezultata zaključeno je da usmjerenost strukture i veličina abrazivnih čestica imaju značajan utjecaj na otpornost drva ariša na abraziju. Najmanji intenzitet abrazijskog trošenja izmjeren je na poprečnom presjeku. Radijalni i tangencijalni presjek imali su slične vrijednosti intenziteta trošenja.
Porastom abrazivnih čestica raste intenzitet abrazijskog trošenja na svim osnovnim presjecima. Na poprečnom i tangencijalnom presjeku, intenzitet abrazijskog trošenja raste linearno do vrijednosti veličine abrazivnog zrna od oko 125 μm, nakon čega se rast intenziteta trošenja usporava. Ovaj fenomen kritične veličine abrazivnog zrna nije uočen na radijalnom presjeku.
Najviša vrijednost prosječne tvrdoće zabilježena je na poprečnom presjeku i iznosi 6,06 HB. Na tangencijalnom presjeku tvrdoća je iznosila 4,07 HB, a najnižu srednju vrijednost tvrdoće ima radijalni presjek u iznosu od 3,28 HB.

Abstract (english)

The main goal of this master's thesis was to determine the intensity of abrasive wear of larch wood (Larix) in cross, radial, and tangential sections, as well as the influence of the size of abrasive particles on the wear intensity.
The test of resistance to abrasive wear was conducted using a Taber abrader device, using different grades of abrasive papers ranging from P80 to P800. Hardness measurements were also taken on three basic sections using the Brinell method.
The analysis of the collected results showed that the orientation of the structure and size of abrasive particles significantly affect the abrasion resistance of larch wood. The lowest intensity of abrasive wear was measured in the cross section, while the radial and tangential sections had similar wear intensity values.
As the abrasive particle size increased, the intensity of abrasive wear rose in all basic sections. In the cross and tangential sections, the intensity of abrasive wear increased linearly up to an abrasive grain size of approximately 125 μm, after which the wear intensity growth slowed down. This critical abrasive grain size phenomenon was not observed in the radial section.
The highest average hardness value was measured in the cross section, amounting to 6.06 HB. In the tangential section, the hardness was 4.07 HB, while the radial section had the lowest average hardness value at 3.28 HB.
