Abstract

U skladu sa sveprisutnim trendom rasta primjene umjetne inteligencije, različiti tehnološki procesi pokušavaju se poboljšati korištenjem iste, a jedna od zanimljivih poveznica je spoj proizvodne industrije i umjetne inteligencije. Naravno, cilj povezivanja umjetne inteligencije i projektiranja tehnoloških procesa je povećanje efikasnosti i kvalitete proizvoda te smanjenje troškova proizvodnje.
U okviru ovog rada ponajprije će se detaljno opisati projektiranje tehnoloških procesa te njegove vrste i podvrste kao i razvoj računalom podržanog projektiranja tehnoloških procesa. Potom će se prikazati i opisati koncept Industrije 4.0 odnosno tehnologije koje se primjenjuju kao dio četvrte industrijske revolucije. Nadalje, opisat će se potencijalne kombinacije Industrije 4.0 i računalom podržanog projektiranja tehnoloških procesa odnosno analizirati primjene tehnologija umjetne inteligencije unutar CAPP-a. Na kraju, kroz tri studija slučaja prikazat će se primjena tehnologije umjetne inteligencije unutar CAPP-a te analizirati njihovi rezultati.

Abstract (english)

Following the pervasive trend of increasing artificial intelligence adoption, various technological processes are striving to enhance their capabilities through its utilization. An intriguing combination present within this trend is the integration of the manufacturing industry and artificial intelligence. Unsurprisingly, the objective of linking artificial intelligence and technological process design is to improve efficiency and product quality while reducing production costs.
Within the scope of this thesis, the primary focus will be on providing a detailed description of technological process design, encompassing its various types and subtypes, as well as the evolution of computer-aided technological process design. Subsequently, it will be illustrated and elucidated the concept of Industry 4.0, including the technologies applied as part of the fourth industrial revolution. Then, the potential synergies between Industry 4.0 and computer-aided technological process design will be presented, analyzing the applications of artificial intelligence technologies within Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP). Finally, through three case studies, the application of artificial intelligence technology within CAPP will be showcased, and their results will be analyzed.
