Abstract

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je izgradnja sortirnice za odvojeno prikupljeni komunalni otpad u Gradu Zagrebu. Ovaj rad prikazuje stanje komunalnog otpada u Gradu Zagrebu, odnosno kolike su količine prikupljenih otpadnih materijala poput papira, polimernih materijala, stakla itd. te koliki je udio odvojeno prikupljenog komunalnog otpada u Gradu Zagrebu. Nadalje, dane su općenite informacije o budućoj sortirnici Grada Zagreba te već obavljenim radovima. Također su prikazane tehnologije razdvajanja otpadnog materijala pomoću kojih je između ostalog moguće: razvrstavati otpad prema veličini i obliku uz korištenje rotacijskih sita i balističkih separatora, razvrstavati polimerni materijal prema vrstama i staklo prema boji pomoću optičkih separatora te razvrstavati željezne i neželjezne metale prema magnetičnosti, odnosno električnoj vodljivosti. Naposljetku, još su prikazane vrijednosti određenih otpadnih materijala te stavovi građana o odvojenom prikupljanju komunalnog otpada.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this master's thesis is the project of municipal waste sorting plant in the City of Zagreb. This thesis shows the statistical data on municipal waste in the City of Zagreb, that is, the amount of collected waste materials such as paper, polymeric materials, glass, etc., and the proportion of separately collected municipal waste in the City of Zagreb. Furthermore, general information is given about the future sorting plant of the City of Zagreb and already completed works on the construction site. Technologies for separating waste materials are also presented, with the help of which, among other things, it is possible to: sort waste according to size and shape using rotary sieves and ballistic separators, sort polymeric materials according to types and glass according to colour using optical separators, and sort ferrous and non-ferrous metals according to magnetic properties of metals and electrical conductivity. Finally, the values of waste materials and the views of citizens on the separate collection of municipal waste are also presented.
