Abstract

U ovom završnom radu bilo je potrebno, pomoću eksperimentalne analize, objasniti utjecaj
trenja na silu deformiranja u procesu slobodnog kovanja te proračunati koeficijent kontaktnog
trenja za različite odnose kontaktnih površina. U teorijskom dijelu ukratko je opisana pojava
trenja, kako se ona očituje pri procesima oblikovanja metala deformiranjem, koje vrste trenja
postoje te kako maziva mogu utjecati na njegovo smanjenje. Uz to, opisan je postupak
oblikovanja kovanjem, a fokus je stavljen na proces slobodnog kovanja gdje uslijed
djelovanja sile trenja na kontaktnim površinama alata i obratka dolazi do otežanog tečenja
materijala te pojave bačvanja. Objašnjen je i raspored naprezanja na tlačnoj površini
pravokutne prizme koji se kasnije u eksperimentalnom dijelu koristi za izračun koeficijenta
trenja. Na temelju provedenog ispitivanja te sakupljenih informacija iz izvora literature,
donesen je zaključak o utjecaju trenja na silu deformiranja nekog materijala.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis it was necessary, using experimental analysis, to explain the influence of friction
on the deformation force in the process of free forging and to calculate the coefficient of
contact friction for different contact surfaces. The theoretical part briefly describes the
phenomenon of friction, how it is manifested in deformation forming technology, what types
of friction exist and how lubricants can affect it. Also, the forging process is described, with
the focus on free forging where, due to the action of friction forces between the tool and
workpiece, there is a difficult material flow and the phenomenon of barreling. The stress
distribution on the surface of a rectangular prism is shown, which is later used in the
experimental part to calculate the coefficient of friction. A conclusion about the influence of
friction on the deformation force was made based on the conducted research and the
information collected from the literature.
