Abstract

Liječnici pacijentima često naglašavaju koliko kilograma trebaju izgubiti kako bi se smanjilo opterećenje u koljenom zglobu. Potaknuto time, u ovome radu je opisano nekoliko metoda za određivanje opterećenja u koljenom zglobu. Metoda koja se koristila za izračunavanje opterećenja je koristila Elite sustav i Kistler platformu. Ispitivanje se vršilo na jednom ispitaniku tijekom normalnog hoda. Pomoću dobivenih podataka izračunato je ukupno opterećenje koljenog zgloba te je izvedena jednadža koja povezuje povećanje/smanjenje težine tijela s povećanjem/smanjenjem opterećenja u koljenu.
Kroz rad je, uz metode određivanja opterećenja u koljenu, opisana građa koljenog zgloba, biomehanika koljena te degenerativna bolest zglobova, osteoartritis, koja zbog povećanog trenja u zglobu dodatno doprinosi povećanju opterećenja u koljenu.

Abstract (english)

Doctors often point out to patients how many pounds they need to lose in order to reduce knee joint load. Encouraged by this, several methods for determining knee joint load are described in this paper. The method that is used to calculate the load was using Elite system and Kistler platform. The experiment was performed on one subject during normal walking. Using the obtained data, the total load of the knee joint was calculated and the equation that connects body weight increase/decrease with knee joint increase/decrease was derived.
In addition to methods of determining the knee joint load, the paper describes the structure of the knee joint, biomechanics of the knee and degenerative joint disease, osteoarthritis, which due to increased friction in the joint, additionally contributes to an increase in the knee joint load.
