Abstract

U teorijskom dijelu rada prikazana su svojstva i primjena materijala u ortopediji. Nabrojani su svi materijali koji se danas koriste za implantate i opisana su njihova svojstva i najčešća primjena. Najvažniji mehanizmi trošenja i značajke biotribologije također su detaljno opisani. Postupak elekropoliranja je detljano opisan uz najvažnije parametre. Prikazani su parametri hrapavosti površine.

U eksperimentalnom dijelu proveden je postupak elektropoliranja uzoraka titanijevee legure Ti6Al-4V. Prije samog postupka, uzorci su mehanički polirani te je izmjerena hrapavost površine. Mijenjajući parametre elektropoliranja, struju i vrijeme, pokušao se utvrditi utjecaj navedenih parametara na adhezijsko trošenje u suhom i vlažnom stanju. Na uzorcima je provedeno mjerenje gubitka mase, progiba, sile trenja te je na kraju pomoću navedenih mjernih veličina izračunat faktor trenja. On pokazuje mjeru otpornosti uzoraka na adhezijsko trošenje u mokrom i suhom stanju.

Abstract (english)

First part of this paper gives a review of properties and applications of materials in orthopedics. All materials that used today for implants are listed. The properties and the most common application of materilas for implants are described. The most important wear mechanisms and features of biotribology are also described. The electropolishing process is described in detail with the most important parameters. Surface roughness parameters are shown.

In the experimental part, electropolishing of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V was carried out. Before the procedure, samples were mehanically polished and surface roughness was mesured. By changing the electropolishing parameters, current and time try to determine the influence of these parameters on the adhesive wear in the dry and wet state. The measurement of mass loss, deflection, friction force was performed on the samples, and finally the coefficient of friction was calculated using the specified measurement values. It shows a measure of the resistance of samples to adhesive wear in the wet and dry state.
