Abstract

Drvo je prirodni biokompozitni materijal s izrazito usmjerenom mikrostrukturom što za posljedicu ima i veliku usmjerenost svojstava u tri glavne osi: radijalnoj, longitudinalnoj i tangencijalnoj. Svojstva se razlikuju od vrste do vrste, a velike razlike mogu biti i unutar istog debla. Zbog svega navedenog, pri ispitivanju bilo kojeg mehaničkog svojstva, potrebno je napraviti veliki broj mjerenja da bi se dobili pouzdani rezultati. U ovom završnom radu određena je savojna čvrstoća hrasta lužnjaka u longitudinalnom smjeru metodom savijanja u tri točke. Također je određen utjecaj kuta između savojne sile i tijeka godova na visinu savojne čvrstoće (0°, 45° i 90°). Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju da je ukupna srednja vrijednost savojne čvrstoće hrasta lužnjaka u longitudinalnom smjeru iznosi 173,7 N/mm2 i nešto je viša od vrijednosti koje se za istu vrstu mogu naći u literaturi. Također se pokazalo da kut između savojne sile i linije godova vrlo malo utječe na vrijednost savojne čvrstoće. Najviše vrijednosti su dobivene za kut od 0° gdje srednja vrijednost savojne čvrstoće iznosi 175,3 N/mm2, a najmanje vrijednosti za kut od 45° gdje je srednja vrijednost 172,6 N/mm2. Srednja vrijednost savojne čvrstoće za kut od 90° iznosi 173,2 N/mm2. Statistička analiza pokazala je da se dobiveni rezultati ponašaju po zakonu Weibullove razdiobe, te da je vrijednosti Weibullovog modula visoka za sve tri skupine uzoraka.

Abstract (english)

Wood is a natural biocomposite material with a highly directed microstructure and, therefore, properties that vary in the three principal axes: radial, longitudinal and tangential. Properties vary not only within the wood species, but also within the three trunk. Consequently, a large number of measurements are required to obtain reliable results for any mechanical property. In this work, the bending strength of the oak in the longitudinal direction was determined by the three-point bending test. Also, the effect of the angles between the direction of load and annual rings’ orientation (0°, 45° i 90°) on the bending strength was determined. According to the obtained results, the mean bending strength of the oak was found to be 173.7 N/mm2 and it is slightly higher than the values that can be found for the same species in the literature. This investigation has shown that load-to- annual ring direction slightly effected the bending value. The highest value was obtained at angle of 0 ° where the mean bending strength was found to be 175.3 N/mm2 and the lowest value was obtained at angle of 45 ° where the mean bending strength was found to be 172.6 N/mm2. The mean bending strength at angle of 90° was 173.2 N/mm2. Statistical analysis has shown that the obtained results follow Weibull distribution and the Weibull modulus values of three measured groups are high.
