Abstract

Cilj ovog završnog rada je definiranje metode za analizu performansi modela zrakoplova koji
lete pri niskim vrijednostima Reynoldsovog broja. Za analizu će se koristiti dva modela
jedrilica, Prime RES i Wiki F3L, koji se upravljaju putem daljinskog upravljača i nemaju vlastiti
izvor pogona. Performanse koje se određuju su dolet i trajanje leta, a glavni podatci za njihov
izračun su koeficijenti uzgona i otpora, koji se određuju u programskom paketu XFLR5. U

su glavne odrednice pravilnika za klasu F3L, kao i geometrijska ograničenja sukladno FAI
pravilniku. Zatim je opisan postupak analize aeroprofila, projektiranja i analize krila u
programu XFLR5. Iz rezultata su očitane vrijednosti koeficijenta uzgona (CL) i koeficijenta
otpora (CD) za ravnotežan let, kada je moment propinjanja (CM) jednak nuli, te su pomoću njih

Abstract (english)

The aim of this final thesis is to define a method for analysing the performances of aircraft
models flying at low Reynolds number values. For the analysis will be used two glider
models, Prime RES and Wiki F3L, which are controlled via remote control and do not have
their own power source. The performances being determined are range and flight duration,
and the main data for their calculation are the lift and drag coefficients, which are determined
using the XFLR5 software package.... More The first part of the paper describes the competition in
which F3L class glider models are used. The main provisions of the regulations for the F3L
class are presented, as well as the geometric limitations in accordance with the FAI
regulations. Then, the process of airfoil analysis, wing design, and analysis in the XFLR5
program is described. From the results, the values of the lift coefficient (CL) and drag
coefficient (CD) were obtained for steady flight, when the pitching moment (CM) is zero.
